Why is my suv dieing when in idol?

Ok so i have a 2006 chevy trailblazer LT that i bought
a week ago. It has 193000 miles. So a couple days
ago it start dieing after starting but if i rev the gas in
time itll stay started. When its in idle or stopping it
dies but will start back up. The rpm needle jumps not
too much but between the 1 and 2. Sometimes i can
feel the fuel pump under my feet on passenger front
side making a weird noise idk how to explain it. It
kicks on normal. And as of yesterday my power
steering started whining when i turn but no tightness.
Does anyone have an idea what my issue could be?

What you're going through is a good reason for having a car reviewed by a mechanic prior to purchase, any defects could be fixed by the seller before you buy it. Causes for an engine dying at idle are, defective idle air control valve, mass airflow sensor, or O2 sensor. Or a sticking EGR valve. There are a few others, but these are the most common. A whiny power steering pump is a sign of low or dirty fluid.

Does the engine only die when you have the AC on OR defroster? If so, unhook fuses #10 and #28 under the hood, then clean your throttle body, $8 fix. Power steering, look at the fluid levels, if full and not hard to turn, that rules out air in your system. Might just need a new pump, very easy DIY job. Do check your idler pulley, as a bad bearing here can make the exact sound as a whiny PS pump. That's a $10 part and 5 minutes to change yourself. Tip, if you do need a new PS pump, stay away from A1-Cardone, mine whined right out of the box. Also, get with a pulley already attached to save you time and the need to buy specially pulley pullers. Maintenance is key with our platform, do this you'll get 300k+ miles out of it.
