Brake fluid seems to be leaking where the brake hose connects to the rotor. Do I need to change the hose or is there a larger problem?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The connector at the brake calipsr seems to
have a small slit in it. Is this supposed to be
there? If so what is the purpose?

One more question?Did you replace the brass bushing at the line connector?

Should be two brass bushing,s where line hooks up to caliper, one in front and one in back.

I did not replace the bushing. That is where there is a small slit. Could this be the reason?
