Is the F 2009 tranny a CVT or older 4EAT. If the latter there's a pretty good chance that simply changing the TCM is sufficient. But DO check interchange books as the harnesses may be different enough to not make it easy. Otherwise a 4EAT is a 4EAT from 2000-2009 (OBs and Legacys, iand Imps, if not Foresters). Good luck. The 4EAT IS rugged, but sensitive to dirt and dried internal seals if its ATF isn't kept clean over the years. That you milked one for 18yrs proves its durability.

I blew off the back housing where the driveshaft goes into the tranmission so i cant even get my transmission rebuilt. Is there a place where i can find the back housing part?

One should NEVER attempt to have a 4EAT rebuilt. Just seek a nice clean one from a boneyard.
