Not turning over outback not starting

My Subaru Outback will not start suddenly.
Got NEW BATTERY still a it does is click
under the hood? What could be its problem?
No spark nothing but clicking

Start with the easy stuff like charging your "new" battery. If you still get only a click then try whacking the starter with a hammer with a stick or pole to unlock the stuck solenoid. If still no-go...or this scenario repeats often, remove the starter and replace the solenoid copper contacts...about $15 online. Common repair as the soft contacts wear down.
