How do I get my equinox out of anti theft

How do I get my equinox out if
anti theft. Changed ignition switch
and it locked down the vehicle

You just can't change ignition components without programming the key. Contact your GM dealer or a locksmith that works on auto's.

Yup, you need to be towed to your local Chevrolet Dealer and have them program the new ignition switch and keys to the vehicle. Also the relearn procedures that everyone talks about will NOT WORK in your situation! So don't waste your time on them! Hope that helps! Jim
