overheat condition, no heat inside the car?

99 Leg Outback, 2.5i, overheated last night on my way home from work, could not get heat inside the car (at that time) , water level seems good, no noise from water pump, an no leak at the pimp.... no leaks at all found, next morning car started fine, warmed up as normal, no heat still, then started to rise in temp after a bit of running, could it be the thermostat???? PLZ HELP......THX

yeh thermostat faulty my 99 leg gx 2.5 same problem about a year ago ,after replacment and good flush and new fluid car is ok ,get it done now to save engine and head problems.
