Why check engine light is on

I have a 2006 Chevy cobalt and check
engine light is on Ajarred trunk and
check oil soon icon came on and
there’s nothing wrong with the truck
got it reset they they still won’t go off  
anybody know what it would be and I
went to the bank earlier and was at
the stop sign and it shut off on me

Did you scan it for trouble codes when you had the lights shut off? What did it say? Make sure grounds and battery connections are tight and load test the battery. Those are pretty random problems so I'm thinking its going to be something pretty basic and electrical in nature.
