Check engine light only when running

I have a check engine light that comes on when
I'm driving but no code is stored. i noticed it
comes on when i am driving up hills, also when i
try to accelerate when it is on the car will loose
power and do this weird throttle motion like it
wants to go but whatever is wrong will not let the
car accelerate.

The only thing i have done is changed the mass air
flow sensor. The car has 65,000 miles on it

Suspect you have some misfire codes, when we're the spark plugs replaced last?

I bought the car and there's no record of a tune-up ever being done. Do you know read codes when the car is running?
