2001 forester trailer wiring

I have just built my own trailer with 7 pin LED tail lights incl
reverse hooked up ready to G O.
Mt fozzy has everything BUT reverse hooked in.
CAN I SPLICE INTO CAR LIGHTS FOR A REVERSE
CONNECTION IN MY 7 PIN TRAILER PLUG?
