Question type: Car Customization

I am looking to do a engine swap in my 99 Subaru
Forester s I have a 2.5 it's the ej25 I want to get
something that I can put in there with a little more
power that's not too costly if possible and was
wondering if there's any or if any of the motors
would bolt up to my tranny

put a cam .header.intake,air inlet system for under 5-6 hundered to start...more fuel and air in...also lighten it up..hood rims...every part that moves like rims is twice the weight reduction here read this and enjoy spending your money i have...> http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulletin/f66/where-buy- performance-parts-n-forester-some-info-36363/

No engine swap nor mods will be satisfying and risk- free...especially intake/exhaust stuff. Better that you stiffen the tire/wheel package to improve handling to get an improved feel. 225/55VR17 rubber bolts up nicely and remarkably improves handling. Think about a thicker rear swaybar if available too. DO change your ATF to protect the tranny while you're at it...and avoid synth motor oil.
