Why does my stereo system in my '06 Grand Prix rattle and vibrate even when the stereo and car are turned off?

The noise goes on and off when I hit a bump.  It sounds like a CD spinning unevenly in the
deck, but it comes from the read of the auto.  The Monsoon system sounds great, but
when it is off or the volume is low, I hear the noise.  There are two speakers and an
amplifier back there.  I don't know which the noise is coming from.
