Why does the Reduced Power Light keep coming on?

Reduced power light keeps coming on. It has been happening for about a
year now. I put it in the shop and they couldn't figure out what the problem
was. When the light comes on there is a slight hesitation and then the car
runs fine.

get the trouble codes to diagnose it yourself... could be a slight miss or clogged fuel filter or something minor.
If the car’s in a shop I think it’s safe to assume the codes have been read. That’s the first thing any shop would do. Find a shop that specializes in auto electrical analysis and repair. Have them go through the wiring harness checking, cleaning and tightening all connections and grounds. Modern auto electrical systems deteriorate over time and cause all manner of problems, some of which don’t get picked up by the computer. I have 4 GM vehicles older than 2007 and all have had problems corrected by my service tech simply by cleaning and tightening electrical connections. Hope this helps.

I don’t know if this is the answer. But my 05 kept saying the same thing and charging system failure. I replaced the alternator, battery and cables, belt and numerous fuses and sensors all in all in ended up being a $20 battery current sensor it goes around the negative battery cable. Honestly my car improved in every way the minute I started it the idle was less choppy and the lights brighter and starts on a dime. Hopefully it helps
