05 Pontiac grand prix died occasionally only to start once cooled off. So I changed the crank position sensor. Left the cables off to reboot cps.

Now after putting in the cps. It still wouldn't start and the
dash reads starting disabled due to throttle position
sensor. What is the cure

Did you scan for trouble codes before deleting all the stored information in your car’s computer? If you did, check those codes out..
