what does it mean when my service light says, " transmission fluid 167 degrees"?

My pontiac GP GT has a serviceight telling me my transmission fluid is getting hot. What
can I do?  Im on vacation and its a holiday.,,

is it supercharged? and if you have the 5 button DIC Computer its not a warning light you just hit the button and it changed over to that screen. your tranny fluid is perfectly fine at 167 degrees. you should be good up to about 210 really it should be the same temp as your engine coolant
