Why is the coolant pouring out and where is it coming from?

I have a 2004 pontiac grand prix gt it started
overheating changed the water pump went to
fill the coolant back up and the coolant
started pouring out of it under the pulley
system so we changed the elbows did a
water test to see if it was still pouring out
and same problem can't figure out exactly
where it's coming from please help we are
stuck 350 miles away from home and need to
get it fixed.

I'd check the lower radiator hose where it attaches to the engine and the heater hoses. Both are in that area. Double check those elbows too. If the O rings aren't lubricated with at least some coolant before installation they can roll back onto the elbow and not seal. I use WD 40 to lubricate the O rings before installation. Did you make sure you got all the old water pump gasket off? Did you use gasket sealant on the new water pump gasket? Hope that helps! Jim
