ABS & 2 wheel alignment

I'm being told that without my abs module
my car cannot be aligned is this true why
why not?

Actually I'm being told that my car will not have power steering unless I have my abs module when it is being aligned

These things have n ithing to do with the alignment of the car. Move on and find another shop.

Ok so they aligned my car but they are now saying my car has no power steering because I don't have the ABS module

Did it have power steering when you left it for the alignment? If it did, cut your losses and drop them from your "preferred repair shop" list! Then file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The power steering and ABS systems are not related or dependent on each other. I think they are trying to take advantage of you. Don't spend another dime there.

No it had to have a new power steering pump which they have replaced with a refurbished one
