While driving, there is a grinding noise when I turn the wheel right.

This noise appeared 10-20 miles after I changed the passenger side drive/half shaft (some of that noise could have been there before I changed this, just not the grinding when turning). There was also some general noise/minor vibration which made me think it was the driver side wheel bearing (turn right, put load on driver side, right?). However, I changed the driver side bearing/hub assembly without much change. Please help.

I would go back and check the passenger side for signs of rubbing since it was noticed after you changed out the half shaft.
