Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Pontiac was running good without any engine
problems then all of a sudden we parked and it
wouldn't start again. The engined siezed. Any idea

Remove all the spark plugs and see if you can turn the engine by hand. Try turning the large (crankshaft) pulley at the bottom center of the engine. If it will now turn over, look for antifreeze spurting out of one or more of the spark plug holes. If you have that going on it's a blown head gasket that's allowed at least 1 of the cylinders to fill up with antifreeze and hydrostaticly lock the engine. Liquid won't compress. HTH. -Jim
