Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2001 pontiac grand am and it wont start. Its getting gas and turning over but it
seems as if its not getting fire. I do not have the proper tool to test it, so I was wondering
what other procedure can I do to check for fire?

Pull a plug wire, get small srcew driver stick in end of plug wire, hold to a bolt for ground, and get someone to turn car over, you will see spark,or not.
