trying to find where the gear cable hook up too and where can i find the other end of the cable?

i have a 2000 pontaic grand am se and the man unplugged my gear cable so he could
move the car but now i cant seem to find where the gear cable hook back up too..

The cable connects to the bent pivot located on the passenger side of the trans, on the back, right near the output shaft. There is a clamp that holds the cable, it only goes on one way.
