I have a 99 grand am gt with the 3.4 v6, it runs great and drives great but the alternator isn't charging the system, brand new alternator and battery put in yesterday, any ideas

has any of the wiring been messed with ? does it all look original , alt and batt installed together ?

you do mean brand new correct.....not brand new used...lol...sounds like a wiring issue at the alternator...
