Hello grandam1998- The warning lights you see are designed to point out problems you are having with a car. They may indicate serious problems or they could be a false alarm. Before buying that 1998 Pontiac Grand Am I would have it inspected by a qualified mechanic. I make this recommendation to anyone buying a used car, warning lights or not. Good luck from Bovan.
