I have a 2003 montero sport xls and in the last two years I have replaced all 4 oxygen sensors. Now another one is bad. Is there a reason that the sensors keep going bad?

The one closest to the combustion process?...these things just burn away 'till you're left with just a nub...perhaps if you lean out the mix (if you can) and advance the spark (if you can) you'll slow the degradation of these 02 senders~....they get kinda gobbled up with combustion...try to keep the combustion back where it belongs...a tune up with an aggressive spark would be my solution~

What? tune-up is NOT a 'mark helpful' type answer? what kind of answer were you expecting....BUY a gross...have them drop shipped?....just get a tuneup, and punch "mark helpful" so the judge did not waste his time here...thanks~
