2003 montero sport will not start

Replaced the engine in my 2003 montero sport. When trying to start the anti
lock light comes on and that is it. Will not even turn over or attempt to start.
Can someone please help with this and Thanks.

The anti-lock brakes have nothing to do with the engine. Check all your battery connections to the engine and make sure they are correct and clean. If that does not do it make sure the starter is good. If you take it out an auto parts house can test it for you. I suspect that your wiring was not hooked up correctly.

I just had a new alternator installed 6 months ago, had a new radiator and stater installed 4 days ago. Battery is good. My 2003 Montero Sport will not start, it's sounds like it wants to. I'm at a loss here and out of money for this vehicle. Could it be a clogged fuel filter?
