2004 Grand Marquis not blowing air

I replaced the blower motor in my 2004 Grand Marquis after the air stopped blowing. This did not fix so I had the shop replace the resistor. The air worked for about a week then stopped blowing again. The shop then replaced the resistor again but this time it did not work at all. They tried to trace the wires but ultimately decided to refer me to the dealer after they could not figure out the issue. I don't what to go that route. What else could be the issue?

Really tough one. Sometimes the unexpected is the answer. Maybe the new blower motor is defective. One needs to measure how many amps it draws. The resistor is only in play when the blower is set to lower than full blast. If there were a short in the wiring, the fuse would blow.
