There is a fuse box under the hood right above the wheel well, nothing under there that I know of. Pop the hood, and look again. This is strange! Emergency brake cable? They might have hooked a chain on something and torn up some wiring. Probably need to jack up the car and look underneath, also, it might be there, maybe wires to the transmission. Good luck!

Look for wires coming down to the left side of the transmission. See if they're fried, also the fuse box above, on both sides.
