Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The odometer / trip meter works, then doesn't. Works, then doesn't. Besides the gears being worn out, could there be another reason for this?

The VSS, otherwise known as the variable speed sensor. Located on the output shaft of the transmission. Your speedometer is electric, no cable.
