License Plate light lens

I need to remove and clean the license plate light lenses on my 95 Mercury
Grand Marquis, I can replace the bulbs but the lenses are dirty and cloudy.

The lenses might need replacing if they are original. No amount of cleaning will get them looking like new. https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/Discussion-t16262_ds605980

Even if i need to replace them i still need to remove them, that is my original question.
