Where are the oxygen sensors located on a 1994 Grand Marquis?

Asked by antok Jun 11, 2016 at 12:50 PM about the 1994 Mercury Grand Marquis LS Sedan RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

According to the literature I've found, My car has two O2 sensors, not 4 as the
later models have. Are they located under the car by the catalytic converter or
somewhere on the exhaust manifold in the engine compartment??

The ones on my '93 were under the hood, right past the manifolds. So hard to get at, I broke the top of one off, and used a universal socket. They also make special sockets for them, but didn't work on L side.
