wipers dont always work when you turn them on

when you turn on the wipers some times they do not work. you have to keep turning them on and off and hope they willcome on.

similar problem with my 94. theres a little piece of plastic inside the dial that activates the wiper delay mode an so on. it wears out over time. check local autozone or murrys an they should be able to get ya a replacement knob
