It leaks ONLY on the passenger side and during very heavy rains when the car is parked. Drove many time through many rains but it never leaked while moving?

Check the sunroof drains if you have one. They could be blocked. Also check the door seals on that side and the cowl drains and A/C condenser drains.

I had the same issue and after removing the carpet entirely the problem was corrected and fixed. 1. Open hood and look on the passenger side at the firewall where the heater box is located. 2. Remove the slotted plastic cover that allows air to enter the cabin. 3. There is a leak under the box and will need a replacement gasket. 4. Leaves sometimes gets in the basket clogging the drain and will overflow into the interior soaking the floor to the rear floor. 5.

This is a common problem on the Town Car, unfortunately. Had the same issue on my 2005, and found a bunch of water under the front passenger seat. Had to remove the seats and the entire carpet to get rid of all the water.
