I suspect the two are not related...what we must do is check the p/s fluid level, I believe there is a small dipstick on the cap (perhaps not) but anyhow see if there is enough Lincoln Town Car approved power steering fluid to top it off with...secondly the fluid has to have dripped out of a failed rubber hose connection of compromised hose~~~~here we have a virtual smorgasbord of available power steering stuff....hope this helps you~

No noise or kick back. Its just like there is no power steering. Its done this everytime the air suspension has gone out. Twice in the last six months. Last time I replaced with spring kit. and power steering has been out every since. It went out when the air suspension warning light came on both times Started working again adter fixing air suspension the first time.. The light is still on after putting in springs.

Steering assist is controlled by same module as rear air bags plug module back in . Or replace it
