Emergency brake

Asked by Jul 08, 2017 at 04:54 PM about the 2004 Lincoln Town Car Signature

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Do you really need your emergency brake on a
lincoln towncar? Im having trouble putting the car
back together.

1 Answer

In states that have inspections to relicense the brakes need to be working properly. On this late model it is called a parking brake, they are no longer viable in an emergency braking situation. If the brakes are assembled properly you should not be having any trouble putting it back together.
