Heater hose Nipple broke off at intake on 2003 Lincoln towncar. How to repair?

Hose popped loose ,rusty water sprayed & hissed. I had someone put hose
back on with new clamp, but after a few miles it came off and car overheated.
He said the nipple was old and worn causing it to pop. How can I repair it ?

Post a photo of it. Is the nipple and or the intake plastic?
