The Town Car had air suspension stock? YIKES! No wonder I never liked the ride the few times I was in one! I thought they would be like the rest of the Panthers, and have double A-arm front with coil springs and normal shocks up front with trailing arms, coils and separate shocks in back. Getting rid of the optional air is easy as the spring perches are standard Panther, so the Crown Victoria springs and shocks drop right in.

Air bags in back double wishbone in front. I've got a2002 TC. Air bags deflated, so I had them replaced with springs. Saturday the A arm of the left front suspension Brooke and dropped the fender into the street. I'm not driving that car anymore.
