Different diameter tires in rear

I ended up with slightly different diameter tires in the rear of the 2000 Town Car
on a road trip.
Will this affect the car's performance?  It appears that the engine misses or acts
strange when accelerating between 45-60 MPH

Thanks for help. The passenger rear was 215/65R16 and on the drive side rear is 235/60R16. To be safe since on a long road trip next week, I replaced the 215 with the same size 235. Engine missing might be a wrong description. It felt like the ABS or Positive Traction systems were being activated. In any case all tires are the same size now and it appears that the issue has gone away during the short testing I did today. Thanks for your help
