Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Trying to remove pcm on 94 lincoln town car, lossened bolt in center of plug(engine compartment), but can't get plug to pull out of the pcm. I can't see any locking tabs or anything, am I missing something?  I don't want to pull or pry too much< because I don't want to damage the plug. Any tricks or ideas would be appreciated. Thank you for your time& have a nice day.

My '95 Town Car has a PCM connector that measures about 1" wide & 4" long with a total of 104 pins in 4 rows. After loosening the single retaining bolt It was not easy pulling the connector apart fighting the pin friction and the stiffness of the wire bundle. If you have to, I suggest you pry very evenly on the coupling body to get the separation started so as not to bend any pins, then PULL! Based on the Haynes Repair Manual I'm almost certain that your PCM connector is identical to that of my '95.
