Check your height censor, this is what control's the compressor to regulate the bladder and adjust inflation based on light or heavy loads.

I have a 1996 mark viii with a check engine light that won't go off! I had the ecu checked at a lincoln dealer and it said I had a problem with code #720. That is the output sensor on the transmission which is not making a complete circuit. I had the ecu replaced( flashed) installed but the check eng. light is still on? The input and output sensors have been replaced along with both oxygen sensors. What else can I do to get this fixed? 3 Answers

MY 96 LINCOLN MARK VIII AIR BAGS IN THE FRONT ARE TOO OVER INFLATED SINCE I HAD THE OIL PAN GASKET CHANGED. I THINK THE DEALERSHIP DID NOT TURN THE AIR RIDE SYSTEM SWITCH OFF LOCATED IN THE TRUNK. NOW THEY ARE TELLING ME THE CAN'T FIGURE OUT WHY IT HAS A PROBLEM AND TOLD ME TO TAKE IT TO A FORD DEALER. I TOOK IT TO A FORD DEALER AND PAID THEM $122 TO LOOK AT IT AND THEY SAY NOW THEY NEED $244 MORE TO DIAGNOSE IT. ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS WHAT MAY HAVE HAPPENED? 7 Answers
