Gear box problems.

Asked by Maroun_feghaly Jun 08, 2013 at 11:38 AM about the 1997 Audi A4 1.8T Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi, when I push down on the gasoline pedal, the gear changes slowly. Sometimes I feels
that the engin is apart from the gear. I change the discs of the gear, but no result. What
should I do to get best result.
Thanks a lot,
Maroun.

not clear if this an Automatic transmission "discs of the gear"?...not sure which component this might be....anyways check your transmission fluid level to be between the two hash marks on the dipstick and add if necessary-- go to a transmission shop and have them change the filter and fluid--good luck.~
