I'm looking at purchasing a 2006 laredo but have heard many negatives especially regarding transmission - any input??

they are great vehicles people talk junk about them because they are a chrystler product.

I agree with papa. Sometimes people are "blinded" by perception. You might want to check out car-survey.com you will be able to read what other owners have to say about this car.

I put 200k on my trans before it went out. and i even beat the piss out of it for the last 100k
