Electrical issues

Asked by Wjtex Mar 23, 2019 at 01:22 PM about the 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Freedom Edition

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I'm going to lost off the problems and hope someone in
this wj community is semi active
1. A while ago my cruise stopped working, I can hit the
power switch to energize the module and the light on the
dash comes on but it will not hold speed.(pretty sure this is
a problem with the module itself
2. Power windows do not work with any switch, but I can
still un/lock doors with power lock switch
3. When locking car with FOB usually when I double press it
will honk letting me know it is lock, hasent done that since
windows stopped working.
4. Overhead console not showing ambient temp, miles to
empty, avg milage, or time elapsed. Is showing trip miles,
and current direction (seems to be locked to south by south
west)

Ya know the hardest part about this kind of situation is trying to find out if these are all related and have a single cause that is making these things happen or are you looking at different problems that have nothing to do with each other

Just used my multimeter to check all my fuses and they all check out, I cant say I understand what you mean by "pin 2" is that the one that transmits the codes? I dont have a check engine light on, and my only code is from my o2 sensor (trusty code 0034) and my airbag light is on now??? The cruise was my vacuum hose popped off saw that accidentally when looking for my 134a tap
