Fuel gauge not working

So i changed my 2002 jeep grand cherokee radio
to a aftermarket one and the radio worked and
everything but my fuel gauge didnt work but i put
the stock radio back and it works again and input?

Possible ground issue. Did you use a radio installation kit or cut and splice the new radio in?

Wiring issue with the new setup. Go back over ALL connections made and make sure you have the right hook ups.
