The jeep doesn't start And backfires through the air cleaner

The jeep died and didn't want to start when you try to start it it kind of wants
to start and backfires in the air filter

Try the ground on the block on passenger side 3 wires led to the block above ur oil filter if you have the 4.0 clean them and reinstall then check your battery terminals

How many miles on the engine? Backfiring in the air filter can be caused by timing problems; possibly a jumped timing chain. Difficult to tell with the limited info provided.

My jeep would die when I turned a corner back fire as if it was out of gas. Ended up being a ground
