Engine swap

Asked by GuruBDNSK Dec 07, 2018 at 08:14 AM about the 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo

Question type: Car Customization

I have a 95 Grand Cherokee 4.0 and I would love to
install a 360. Can it be done? Would I need to
change the transmission and driveshafts and rear
and front ends?

That generation of Jeep Grand Cherokee (1992-1998) actually had a few with the 360 engine, and it was called the Orvis Edition. It was claimed to be the fastest production SUV in the world. Yes, it was a Beast! So I think it would fit but unfortunately there would be a ECM incompatibility problem. Maybe someone has a solution that I am not aware off.
