2004 Santa Fe 3.5 won't start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Changed the plugs, wires and EGR valve. Started one time and sounded like it was about to throw a rod. I am at a loss. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Was it making the noise before you performed the work? I would recheck all your electrical connections and hoses. Maybe you bumped something?
