what does it mean if my abs lite came on after getting a new axle

Could be they ordered and installed the wrong axle and used one with no Brake sensor ring on it or they cracked the sensor ring

Basically, there are 4 ABS sensors (one at each wheel). Diagnose it with an OBD reader (at trusted workshop) to pinpoint which sensor is down. Oh, do check if there is/are any loose sensor connections too.
