Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We have a 2004 Santa Fe that had 243,000 miles on it when a defective right coil
spring punctured my right tire. I had AAA put the spare on and that one promptly blew
also.
After having it towed to the Hyundai dealer they replaced both right and left struts and
the springs as well as four tires (2 of which were the damaged ones).
The recent recall service was performed and I applied for a refund from Hyundai in
accordance with their reimbursement policy. I received a check which which only
covered the front springs material and the cost of the labor to replace them. I felt that I
should be reimbursed for the strut assemblys as well as the cost of the damaged tires.
