Exactly, you can't bypass the alarm system. It's there for a reason! Jim

You may/May NOT be able to bypass that system. anti-theft alarm system is switched ON/OFF when locking or unlocking your vehicle. First: Check the LED and Battery on the vehicle key for proper functionality and state of charge. Faulty battery key or the key itself may be the reason you can't turn it OFF. If you suspect Car key electronics is faulty, go to your AUDI dealer and get a new one. to switch the alarm OFF press the unlocking button on the vehicle key or switch ignition ON. specially sophisticated and updated scan tool it is required to 'bypass" or "de- activate" AUDI anti-theft alarm system from ECU_BCM. thanks.
