2003 Audi A6 3.0L: Won't idle after strong rain. Sounds like water fouling. Where is most likely place to look? Plugs?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The car only idles rough for a few seconds before dying. Ran fine yesterday.

I would start by replacing plug wires. This happened to me every day in Florida after a strong rain.. Had to replace my distributor cap as well....but your vehicle does not have that now

You can wipe down each of the spark plug wires and then spray with a silicon protection spray....I did that for mine in Florida and it kept moisture and ran great after that each rainy day!!
