rear end swap

Will a rear end from a 2003 extended cab GMC Sierra 2 wheel drive fit a 2005
crew cab GMC Sierra 4 wheel drive. Gear ratio is the same.

Best thing to do is take some measurements of each. You can put any rear under the truck however, it may take some modification. I installed a 1999 Isuzu rear axle in a 1983 Jeep J10 pickup. It took some welding and modification but I now have 4 wheel disc brakes on my J10.
